Music as a timeline

Found a new way to listen and think about music today through a program called Variations Audio Timeliner. Basically it turns an audio file into a timeline that you can annotate. I’m using it to demonstrate the structure of Jazz and Blues music and to show the repetition of chord structures. It’s super easy to use, and ideal for anyone teaching grade 9- 12 music, particularly IB diploma music.
